'Casa La Paz' Workshop: "Ceanothus, Queen of the Chaparral"

Our 'Casa La Paz’ Workshop series continues on Saturday, February 11, 2006, 11:00am at Tree of Life Nursery with “Ceanothus, Queen of the Chaparral”.

Ceanothus, or California Lilac, will be the star of a talk by Mike Evans and Jeff Bohn, owners of Tree of Life Nursery. Learn about the landscape uses of this versatile and beautiful plant, and about the numerous species and cultivars. Tree of Life carries over types, from very large shrubs to low-growing ground covers. You can view plants blooming in pots and in our display gardens. February is an excellent time to plant Ceanothus, and we’ll include tips on how to properly handle and care for them. Don’t miss this talk about a plant that should be featured in every garden in California.
